Milex Residential is seeking an On-Site Working Foreman. This position requires a skilled construction professional with the ability to both contribute in an active role to the completion of residential construction projects as well as supervise others on-site. The position requires the candidate to work hands-on as you lead a crew.
Milex Residential is a full-service residential construction firm, providing services such as remodeling, renovations, restorations, additions, and new construction. Design-build services are also available. We are growing at a rapid rate and are hiring for several positions. Milex Residential has been in business for over 10 years. This position is a full-time, year-round position with competitive wages, and full benefits.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
Interface with project inspectors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Utilize construction management software to assist in on-site management of projects (training will be provided)
Negotiate with subcontractors to receive reasonable order costs
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Candidate Requirements
Experience in the field of construction
Proven ability to effectively and efficiently manage a crew
Basic knowledge in each area of general contracting: electrical, plumbing, etc.
Strong work ethic; punctual, hard-working & dependable.
Dependable transportation
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills
Detailed oriented
Must pass a background check
